Recalls & Reminders

Our practice has a recall system so that if you have been requested by your Doctor to have a Blood Test or Imaging, then if your Doctor would like a follow-up appointment to discuss the results with you, you will be contacted either via SMS, E-mail or Telephone to arrange that appointment.

Our reminder system works in a similar way, whereby you are contacted by either SMS, E-Mail or Telephone to advise that you are due to follow-up with your preventative care and you are then invited to make an appointment for that purpose.

Privacy Policy

Your medical record is confidential. It is the policy of our practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff. Consistent with our commitment to quality health care, practice has developed a policy to protect patient privacy in compliance with the National Privacy Legislation. 

Our policy informs you:-

• That we require your consent to collect information about you

• Why we need to collect your information

• How your information will be used by us and to whom we may need to disclose it

• That you may request access to the information we hold about you

• That you may discuss any concerns you have about how we handle your information

Social Media Policy

Scarness Medical will not comment on social media posts nor respond to direct inquiries over social media. For any health matters please call reception to book an appointment with our doctors.  Scarness Medical does not take any information from social media nor share medical information online or to third parties.
