First Appointments
Please ensure you are preparred for your first appointment by brinigng along your previous scripts or medical records. First appointments will involve taking a 'New Patient History' to summarise your past or continuing medical needs. Information about your conditions and specialists involved would be appreciated at the first visit.
Upon arrival you will be provided a standard form for you to declare any allergies, family history, basic demographic information and personal contact information. Please ensure adequate time to complete this form (5-10 minutes) as approrpriate.
Urgent appointments
Our friendly administration staff may be able to facilitate more urgent appointments with an available practitioner.

Long Appointments
If your health matters require more than 20+ minutes to work through, please advise our receptionist to book sufficient time for your consultation. Long appointments do not include time to undertake a requested procedure or do not guarantee that the issue may be resolved in the allocated time - but may allow for better planning and evaluation for complex health matters.
After Hours Services
Our practice directs patients to the Hello Home Doctor Service. Call 134-100 or book online.
Our practice has no direct after hours contact with patients however, some doctors may be able to contact you after hours if arranged via reception but are managed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact the practice at least four hours before the appointed time. The advanced notice allows us to offer the appointment to another patient.
A non-attendance fee may be charged with notice less than 4 hrs.

Test Results
Your doctor will advise you when they expect to get your results back; and you will be contacted if the doctor requests to see you following any tests.
We ask that you make an appointment with your doctor if you wish to discuss your test results. Please note that our reception staff are unable to give out any test results over the phone.
Scripts
We ask where possible that you try to obtain your scripts during your consultation. If you need repeat scripts, we ask that you make an appointment to see your doctor so that the medical condition for which the scripts are written can be checked.
Referrals
All referrals require an appointment. We prefer to discuss your condition with you before referring to a specialist. If you have previously seen a particular specialist for an ongoing problem and require a repeat referral, please advise our receptionist.
Telephone Calls
Your doctor is available by telephone during opening hours; however, because calls may inconvenience other patients while having their consultation, messages can be left for the doctor to return at the end of the day.
In some cases, the nurse or receptionist may be able to assist you. If your call is urgent, you will be put through to a clinical staff member.
Procedural Appointments
Procedures may often require the presence of a practice nurse. Due to limited resources we aim to plan for these procedures by booking both doctor and practice nurse accordingly. These may include, but are not limited to - complex skin excisions, insertion of a Mirena or performing a cervical screening tests, managing complex wounds, nail removal or wedge excisions.
Wound cares and injections can be attended to by our practice nurse but do not require a doctor's appointment unless specific prescriptions are required (e.g. for work or travel vaccines)
